For this term we have been focusing on global issues for inquiry. I choose pollution (sea). First of all here's my blurb about my art.
Blurb:
My art is about ocean pollution. I choose pollution because I have quite a strong point for it and believe that we can stop it if we all work together.
There are many plastic that goes in the sea, which pollutes our ocean. My art shows they way that it looks on some beaches.
In my art it shows a turtle choking on a straw and wrapped up in a net. It also has many rubbish pieces on the beach and in the sea to show what is really happening. I also put up a few clouds to show air pollution.
I want to spread the word that we are all in this together and if we all chip in, then we may just be able to stop the pollution.

The Plastic Beach
I named it this because as you can see there is a lot of plastic on the beach. You might not be able to see it but I put a straw in the turtles mouth, I also put a net over top of it. I put plastic everywhere but made the sky lovely, even though in some places there is dark clouds covering the sky. I am very proud of it and hope that you all like it too.
So that was my blurb and my art. I hope you liked it!
Have you seen plastic on the beach before? I have. I want to put out there that we need to all come together and stop throwing plastic everywhere and put it the bins. What would you do?
