Kia Ora Gaia,
ReplyDeleteRosa Parks was an incredible woman who accomplished so much in the movement against segregation just for standing up for what she believed in! I didn’t hear her story until I was in high school, but like you, I had to know more. I was so amazed at how one person’s stand (or sit in this case) ignited a whole movement. Ms Parks is such an incredible woman and role model.
You’ve done a fabulous job explaining who she was and why you chose to post about her. I like how you incorporated fact, emotion, and pictures, it’s a brilliant combination and beautifully written. How cool that you first learnt about her on Doctor Who!
Have you ever stood up for something even when it was hard?
Happy blogging!
Ngā mihi maioha,
Shannon (SLJ)
