Sensational School Work

Hey guys! Welcome back! Today for literacy I had to make another scratch about the same thing but a bit more detail and more dialogue. For maths I had to make a house on a site called Tinkercad. Here's my work!

Here is my literacy work. It is kind of similar to my other one but with more dialogue and the duck is more polite than last time and the girl is confused and curious. I didn't really understand what I'm exactly meant to do. But I think I did it correctly(I hope). (Note: If you try play it again the duck will be in a different position and I don't know who to fix it. But I think if you just reload it might go back to it's original position) Here it is!

Here is my numeracy work. So I had to make a house on Tinkercad, with at most 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 living room, 1 kitchen and a hallway. I have made each room have it's own colour and labelled them. The maths part is we had to find the areas of each room, then find the whole area. We did this by preparing how long, wide and high each room will be so then we can find the area and the volume too. The total area was 348000mm(squared) So here it is!

Here is a link to scratch so you can make your own animations if you want: https://scratch.mit.edu/
Here is another link to Tinkercad so you can make lots of designs: https://www.tinkercad.com/
So that's it! Bye!

  1. Hey Gaia,

I love your new scratch. It's quite entertaining. I like the duck's character - he's definitely much more polite than the last one!

The house is pretty cool too - I think in the end though you might want to measure your house in m2 rather than mm2 - that's quite a large number to deal with!

As always Gaia - love the way you just get on with your work. Well done. Mum x

    1. Hi,
Thanks for commenting. I can't measure in m2 because on the site mm2 is the only way to measure it. Also you know the total area. Well I think I may have done it wrong.
      Anyways Bye!
