Here is my scratch. So basically we had to make a scratch with a basic conversation, with an animal and a human. (We read a short story of a human how taught a cat how to speak English) But we had to make the animal speak in a way like how in the short story we read, just by how the cat spoke you could tell it was sassy. I think mine is kind of like a cool, laid back, bored duck. Here's my scratch!
Here is my maths work. So what I had to do was find the area of a 2 metre radius circle (bubble). Then I had to see how many of an object of my choice (I choose one of my couch's) could fit in that circle (bubble). I also had to find out my maths teacher's. He choose his truck. Anyways here it is!

Can you try and find how much of an object of your choice can fit in your bubble?
So that's it! Bye!
Hey Gaia. I love the scratch conversation....I think the chicken is a tween or teen, judging by the way it gives minimal answers!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit confused by the maths. Did you work out in the end how many couches or trucks would fit into your bubble? Perhaps I can't see it...or I've missed it.
Great work again. Love how you just get on with it. Mum x
Hi Gaia - I really enjoyed your scratch conversation. I also thought the duck sounded like a cheeky almost teenager, so you have really managed to get that across in your dialogue. Keep up the great work! Aunty H x

ReplyDeleteHey Gaia, I loved the conversation with the person and the bird, it made me laugh because I didn't expect the attitude to come from the cute wee bird...I guess appearances can be deceiving!
