I was a pupil at Marshland School and this blog is where I shared my learning.

The Tree Whisperer
Hey Everyone, for this summer learning journey activity I had to write a short story 10 sentences. Enjoy!
Sophie sounds like she has the coolest secret. What sort of shenanigans do you think she’d get up to with a power like that? I think she’d learn so much about the world. Trees live on for so long and see so many things, it’d be cool to hear their stories and about their lives more intricately.
I really like the background you have used. It’s so cool that you added an illustration to your short story. It ties the whole thing together and makes it all the more intriguing for your readers. Did you design it yourself? If so what program did you use?
Had you thought about using a different font colour to really make your post stand out? Currently well it’s bright and pretty, it is a little bit hard to read in some places with your super cool background. Maybe you could use red or dark pink instead. You could also increase the size of the text or make it bold if you liked the yellow.
Keep up the great work! Ngā mihi maioha, Shannon (SLJ)
To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows: 1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared. 2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language. 3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question. Encourage me to make another post
