Hello Everyone, this is another Summer Learning Journey activity. For this, I have to tell you a time when me or someone I know being brave. I hope you enjoy it!
It was in January at the start of the year of 2019... My family and I were going back to New Zealand from our holiday in Australia. It was our last night, but my dad had a Cardiac arrest. He was in a coma for a week. On the 2nd to last day, I went in to see him. But at first, I didn't want to go in and see him because I was too scared to see him with tubes and wires in him. Luckily my Aunty Sue help me become brave she gave me one of her rings, she said it was a ring to help you be brave and it was also lucky. So I went in and I was happy to see him, I wasn't scared anymore!
Luckily now my dad is ok and is getting on well
That is my little story of being brave! I have many more but that is the main one.
I hope you liked it!
Has this happened to you?
What brave moment have you had?
Bye!
Kia Ora Gaia,
ReplyDeleteWow Gaia, that must have been scary. I’m so proud of you for being brave and going in to see your dad. It’s good to hear he’s doing much better now! Wires and tubes can be scary, even the smell of the hospital sometimes, so you showed a lot of courage going in to see him.
Your Aunty Sue sounds very kind and helpful. Sometimes when we’re scared, all we need is a little help from our family and friends so we can be strong. It sounds like your family is very supportive and kind.
What are some other times you’ve been brave? Have you had to be brave for yourself or for someone else?
Mā te wā
